UCD's Equality Diversity and Inclusion Group in partnership with the Student LGBTQ+ Society present a momentous event for International LGBTI History Month 2018:
- Dr Catherine Zappone, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, will officially launch UCD's Gender Identity and Expression Policy;
- The awarding of the Foy-Zappone Award to Tonie Walsh – Curator of the Irish Queer Archive (IQA) at the National Library of Ireland.
Join us to celebrate these milestones as well as the 30th Birthday of the UCD Student LGBTQ+ Society and the 1st Birthday of the UCD LGBTI Staff Network.
The event will take place between 17:00 and 18:30 on Thursday 22nd February in the Moore Auditorium, UCD O'Brien Centre for Science and will be followed by a reception in the atrium. There will be a Recital by Dublin's LGBT Choir Gloria.
